I've been an educator for more than 20 years. When I was a little girl I used to play school with my friends and I always wanted to be the teacher.

After a career in Hospitality Management, I listened to my calling to teach and started substitute teaching on my weekdays off. I went back to school and earned my Master's degree in Education. I became a NY state certified teacher and worked in the NYC public school system.

After having children of my own I made the choice to be their teacher and thus began my homeschool career. My family subsequently relocated to North Carolina where I hold a current NC educator's license.

In addition to homeschooling my children, I've worked as an advisor to other homeschooling families and have specialized in online learning for the past 10 years.

I'm happy to say that in my own homeschool, my eldest son graduated high school with his Associate in Arts degree. He went on to earn his Bachelor's degree from our state university at the age of 19. My youngest son also graduated high school with his Associate in Arts degree and went on to one of our state universities. In the same week that he turned 20, he graduated with his Bachelor's degree.
